Talent & Development Officer (ref. AD/26/01)
IRB Barcelona is seeking to recruit a Talent & Development Officer to join the People Department.
Reporting to the Talent & Development Section Head, the Officer facilitates full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives. This role contributes to the development of diverse HR projects to ensure HR excellence and a high-quality employee experience.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Ensure the implementation of the best hiring processes, and work to improve the ones already in place.
Support the end-to-end recruitment process.
Be responsible for placing job ads, verifying references, and conducting interviews.
Deliver an exceptional experience for all new members and potential candidates.
Foster great relationships with each of the participants of the recruitment process.
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Support international members in immigration and onboarding procedures.
Support the daily operations of hiring and take care of all documentations and requirements.
Coordinate and organize training courses to contribute to talent development.
Contribute to the development of the different project of the People Team.
Act as a point of contact for resolving staff inquiries about company policies, benefits and other HR-related topics.
YOU HAVE
3 years of experience in HR or talent development roles.
Degree in Psychology, Labour Relations, Humanities or a related field, ideally with specialization in HR.
Knowledge of HR policies, and EU standards related to research careers (e.g., HRS4R, OTM-R).
Experience in international hiring and mobility.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
High level of autonomy, and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
Advanced user of Excel and HR software (SAP, TeamTailor, etc.).
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
A Master's degree in Human Resources Management.
Knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
